Chris has over 20 years of experience in the Restaurant, Hospitality, and Wine & Spirits industries. Chris began working at a family friend’s restaurant in the Atlanta-area in his teen years and continued to work in the industry while attending college. Chris relocated to Tampa, FL in the mid-2000’s and started working for the iconic Bern’s Steak House group at their modern fine-dining restaurant “SideBern’s”, a James Beard Award semifinalist. It was at SideBern’s where Chris took his passion for food and wine to the next level for the better part of a decade, during which he also worked in the restaurant’s top-rated craft bar program, extensively learning about spirits and mixology.
Chris made the jump to the wine & spirits wholesale side by taking on the role of On-Premise Sales Representative at Breakthru Beverage Florida. For over 5 years he sold the industry’s top brands while simultaneously learning the distributor-side of the business as well as building relationships in the industry. Chris earned his WSET Level I Award in Wines and Spirits, passing with merit. In looking to advance his knowledge of wine, Chris accepted a position with Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits of Florida, working for their exclusive Signature Luxury Wine & Spirits division as a Sales Consultant.
As the Florida Sales Manager at Crafted Brands, Chris works to expand the presence of the wineries and brands he manages in the market by heightening brand awareness and supporting the distributor sales teams in the state. When not working, he enjoys cooking, drumming, and spending time with his wife Chelsey and their son.
